French language pedagogy
Hayet Sellami holds a Ph.D. in Sociology and an MA in International Relations (with a specialization in East Asia and Asia Pacific) from the School of Advanced Studies in Social Sciences (École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales, Paris) and National Institute for Oriental Languages and Civilization (Institut National des Langues et Civilisations Orientales – INALCO, Paris), respectively. Her research interests include migration and identity formation, the impacts of migration on societies, and philosophical theories and concepts of identity. She has extensive experience teaching French as a foreign language in various universities and institutions in the US, China and Taiwan. She teaches French language courses at all levels and covering a range of specific focuses, as well as courses on migration and diplomacy.
