Introduction to History and Literature offers a broad overview of the different ways in which History and Literature have crossed paths since the early modern period. Its main goal is not to provide a single theoretical or methodological framework, but to introduce students to the many debates that have marked the relationship (and at times, confrontation) between history and literature.
