Funding for Study and Research Abroad

There are many opportunities to fund study or research abroad open to Columbia Undergrads. Among them, some are specifically intended to support study or research in France or the francophone world.

The Presidential Global Fellowship funds rising sophomores to study on a Columbia global program during the summer.

The Beesen Global Experience Research Fellowship provides support for non-native French speakers to study or do research in Paris during the summer.

The Undergraduate Global Policy Fellowship is available for rising seniors to conduct policy-oriented research during the summer for a senior thesis that is global in nature.

Columbia College and the School of General Studies both offer small grants for thesis research.
