Set in 1890, an innocent English teenager, Olivia (Olivia), arrives at a small boarding school outside Paris. This screening is featured as part of the Films on the Green Festival organized by the Cultural Services of the French Embassy, FACE Foundation, and the City of New York Parks & Recreation in partnership with the Columbia Maison Française. The focus of this year’s festival is female directors in French and Francophone cinema. Sponsorship is provided by Air France, BNP Paribas, CHANEL Fund for Women in the Arts and Culture, JC Decaux, and TV5 Monde. *Please note that in case of rain, the screening will be held in the East Gallery in Buell Hall—seating is limited.
